Simply put, we care about where you live.  We're apart of your community here in Maryland, and we want to keep it beautiful.  We start with waste collection and end with adaptability to your requirements.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS | RESIDENTS

  • Which days of the week do we collect trash?
    We collect five days per week - Sunday evenings through Thursday evenings. We do not pick up on Friday nor Saturday's.
  • What if I forget to put my trash out for collection between the pick up hours?
    Not a problem! We will perform waste collection on the next scheduled pick up day. Unfortunately, if you miss a pick up, you can take your trash to your community dumpster or leave it for us for the next day between 5-7pm for pick up after 7pm.
  • Will I need to use my own trash bin?
    No! We conveniently provide you with a complimentary trash bin upon move in. You will retrieve it from your management office. The trash bin is what you will use to place your secured and tied trash bag into the can for pick up.
  • Will I ever receive a separate bill for your service?
    Nope! You will never receive a separate bill from My Valet Lifestyle because we are contracted through your property management. If you have any questions on costs for your community, please contact property management.
  • I do not want valet trash for my unit, how can I cancel service?
    It is unfortunate that you don't want the convenience of waste collection from your doorstep. Our services are contracted through property management for your entire community, and you will need to speak with them directly to discuss further.
  • Is there a bag limit for collection?
    We understand that you will have more waste on some days, and that's fine! We have a limit of 2 bags, but if it is secure, placed on the trash bin and tied, we will do our best to pick it up. We ask that you avoid grocery bags, paper bags, and loose items for pickup, and use actual garbage bags to help reduce spills and promote security for ease of pickup.
  • My trash was not picked up and I sat my trash/trash bin out, why?
    If your trash was not picked up and it was set outside, we will provide you with a violation notice as to why it was not picked up. We have certain protocols in place to protect you, residents, staff, and our collectors. Remember, safety is our priority. We ask that you: -Limit to 2 garbage bags per pick (if there are more bags, we will try our best to make the accommodation) -Utilize proper garbage bags to prevent spills and leakage -Use the bin that was given to you at move in -Avoid glass, knives, or any sharp objects that can easily poke through
  • How can our community benefit from valet trash?
    Offering door to dumpster waste collection not only offers you a passive revenue stream that easily elevates your property's status and appeal; but it improves the tenant experience, enhance the property’s image, efficiency, and overall operational management.
